My team was great and very cooperative. My boss was also very supportive.

The upper management could be improved. They weren’t the most supportive, and sometimes there could be shady business.Â

Give it a fair chance and just focus on the job at hand. Cooperate with your team. There are a lot of good people there but always be wary.

Needs an upgrade. Guest WiFi is poor. Hospital is dirty.

Another large hospital system buying up the small hospitals. Joining them now would be better than living through the takeover. Every few years they downsize the middle management. Beware of those positions

While Abington owned the hospital we never had problems with supplies
What improvements are needed?
Jefferson took ivermectin and we were always running of supplies that were needed.
What advice would you give future healthcare professionals considering this facility?
I enjoyed working with my patients and the majority of my co-workers. I would said go in with questions and follow up with your manager or team leader if anything should come up.

Dr. Newman has always demonstrated a kindness for not only his patients but the team. He is fair and understanding of the circumstances that can sometimes derail a case so he’s easy to talk to and work with.

Up until about 10yrs ago, this was a GREAT place to work. The leadership changed and everything has gone downhill ever since.

They need to care about the employees again. There was a time when they showed us we were appreciated. Now you're just a number.

Leadership improvements need to take place. There is no longer a warmth in the workplace! They no longer take care of the employee’s needs. It is a business!

An extremely difficult place to work but it made me a better scrub. When I say difficult I mean that in the type of cases we did

Better communication and better access to food. The cafeteria closes way to early and the cases can run late so there’s no where to go eat

Dr. Patel was a coworker of mine’s who also took care of my mom. He’s a conscientious Surgeon and very meticulous on the surgical field but what stands out the most about him is how he takes care of his patients with so much compassion. The way he cared for my mother was next level and I’ll never forget his kindness and professionalism
