What stood out positively about this experience?

Kalamazoo was a surprising place to work for me as a traveler. Midwest folks are great. The people in SPD were great.

What improvements are needed?

The staff is short handed and somewhat overworked. The facility is will experience some expansion and changes in the future, but right now they are somewhat overwhelmed with the increasing number of surgeries.

What advice would you give future healthcare professionals considering this facility?

Patience and willingness to help are helpful. They have a great SPD staff; go there with the intent to help.
